Vβ2 is the human variable β2 chain of the T cell receptor. It is expressed by 10% of peripheral CD3+ cells in normal blood. Vβ2 is the target of Toxic Shock Syndrome Toxin 1 (TSST1). This sequence is also referred to as TRBV20-1 (based on the IMGT gene nomenclature).
