Beckman Coulter Lifes Sciences Rolls Out Website Enhancements That Require Customer Action

INDIANAPOLIS – (March 4, 2021) – Building on its continuous commitment to safety and security, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is taking another step forward to protect the digital data and sensitive information of its customers.
 
All users with an account on beckman.com will notice a change this month which will require action in order to continue using the site. The company is adding Single Sign On (SSO) and Two Factor Authentication (2FA) beginning Thursday, March 4. All users with an account on beckman.com will be required to update their login information including making sure their e-mail address is up to date.
 
Beginning[SJS1]  March 4, customers will immediately be directed to change their password when they log in. All account information and preferences will remain the same and will continue to be securely stored. The new password must meet contain at least 10 characters and include at least:
 
•           one lowercase letter
•           one uppercase letter 
•           one number
•           one symbol limited to !@#$%^&*;
 
Passwords may not include symbols such as (),_-+ or spaces.
 
Accounts will be authenticated by both password entry and a system-generated numeric code that will be e-mailed to the user. That code must be entered after sign-on to the website. The process will be required every 45 days or when the account is accessed from a different device or location.

The security launch is part of a series of enhancements users of beckman.com will notice throughout 2021.

As always representatives from Beckman Coulter Life Sciences will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure customers avoid any interruptions in service.
